Equine Coverage’s Available

Mortality: This coverage provides protection against death as a result of any accident, sickness or intentional destruction by a qualified veterinarian performed for humane reasons. The annual cost is usually between 3 and 5% of the insured value of the animal and often depends on the actual value of the horse. An application is required to enact coverage.

Surgical / Major Medical Extension: This package provides coverage for surgical operation expenses and medical expenses due to injury, illness or disease.

Death Claim Expense Reimbursement: This cover allows for reimbursement for medical expenses, boarding charges and post-mortem expenses after payment of a death claim.
