SeaFirst Insurance Brokers has officially opened its new premises in Brentwood Bay. At a reception last week, Doug Strong (President) thanked all the people who helped with the planning, construction, and design, as well as the neighbouring merchants who put up with the construction for over a year!

In a touching ceremony, Mr. Strong dedicated the building to the original owner of the firm, and the building will now be known as the “William A. Eastgate Building”. Mr. Eastgate’s widow Fran was present, as was their daughter Kim Smith, who has been with the firm for over 33 years.

“I wanted to honour the man who not only started SeaFirst Insurance (formerly known as Seaboard Properties), but gave me my start in the insurance business, and helped make my dreams possible”, said Mr. Strong. He welcomes all existing and new customers to come see the new office.
